Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

Music touches the mind, the heart, and the senses. Throughout history music has uplifted, engaged, engendered joy and unified people in a way that transcends all human boundaries.

During the pandemic, the key role that music plays in fighting isolation, providing therapeutic support and lifting spirits has been amplified. From neighbours singing together from their balconies to virtual concert fundraisers for frontline healthcare workers, we've watched the power of music bring us together at a time when we had to be physically apart.

Our mission at Music Tunes the World is to create meaningful programs that embrace the power of music to provide engaging leadership opportunities for youth that allow them to connect with vulnerable populations within their communities.

 

Through this project, we hope to empower youth and equip them with the knowledge, tools and support they need to affect positive change in their communities and in themselves. Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive a Youth Leader for Music and Health certificate.
